Co-Founder
The Montessori teacher from the southwest of England. Linzi started her career as a live-in nanny. Leaving her home town at 19, Linzi worked all over the world, including in the USA, Israel, Australia, Canada, Greece and Turkey. She worked In Multi-cultural homes learning the values of different faiths and traditions around families and childcare.
She returned to England in her late 20’s and studied the Montessori method of teaching young children. Once qualified, Linzi set up her own Montessori Nursery in south west London, which she ran for 18 successful years. During this time Linzi continued her studies, obtaining a degree in Early Years Teaching and childcare.
Linzi gained valuable skills running her nursery school, and she formed close interpersonal relationships with both children and their families.
Since selling her business 4 years ago, Linzi has continued to work in various private nurseries in London and Cambridge. Her years of experience working with children and their families have provided her with a mix of technical, creative and interpersonal abilities, ranging from curriculum development to behavior management. Each step in her career has given her in-depth understanding of child development and the unique challenges families face, especially during the formative years.
During her tenure, Linzi became increasing aware of the need for personalised support, tailored to individual families, as each child presents unique strengths and challenges. Linzi has always been very proactive in supporting children’s physical development, and the positive results achieved by young children outside the classroom. This realisation sparked her desire to expand her impact beyond the classroom too. To better serve parents and guardians, she embarked on additional training to specialise in areas such as football and gymnastics coaching.
In this fast-paced changing world, Linzi is ready to collaborate with families to tailor nurturing sporting environments for their children to flourish in.
